How much does the Service Cost?

The service is free. We charge the Tenant a one off Fee at the beginning of their Tenancy. Please refer to Tenants FAQs for details.

How long does Rent Defend Guarantee the Tenant for?

Rent Defend guarantees Student Tenants typically for a 12-month period. We will contact you before the end of the Tenancy to check if the Tenant will be staying on in the property and to renew their Guarantor Policy.

What happens if a Rent Defend Guaranteed Tenant is late paying rent?

We will start the rent repayment process on receipt of the relevant invoice.  We will pay this within 28 days of receipt of the invoice.

What happens if a Tenant defaults on other aspects of their Tenancy Agreement?

The Rent Defend guarantee covers the monthly rent of the Tenant. All other liability is the responsibility of the Tenant.
